Beginning as a small online dating start-up in 2003, Plentyoffish’s exploding market growth transformed a one-man operation into an industry leader based in downtown Vancouver. With 60 employees and further hiring on the horizon, SSDG Interiors took on the new 6,000 SF office, with the mandate of designing a work environment that is flexible, energizing, and professional. The company’s product, creating meaningful connections between people, figured prominently in the planning; spaces for collaborating and socializing were integral to the concept. Design features include maximized natural light and views, the use of wood slats, and punches of bright blue throughout, creating an inviting and inspiring workplace reflective of their brand.
