Our relationship began with a 44,000 square foot corporate office and has since expanded to include highly specialized clean rooms and laboratory environments—marking the start of a long-term partnership now spanning ten buildings and counting.
From the outset, budget stewardship was a critical driver of the project. Through strategic planning and thoughtful sourcing, the entire space was furnished exclusively with second-hand furniture, demonstrating that sustainability and fiscal responsibility can coexist with high-performance design.
The concept was inspired by the heartbeat—an abstract expression drawn from the life-saving cardiac device developed by the client. This idea informed both spatial planning and experiential moments throughout the workplace, reinforcing the organization’s mission at every scale.
A highly open floor plan was implemented to support flexibility and adaptability within a fast-changing organization, allowing teams and departments to shift and grow over time. Dedicated space for town halls encourages connection and shared purpose, while a full-service commercial kitchen supports daily breakfasts and lunches, reinforcing wellness, culture, and community.
This project reflects not only a space, but an ongoing collaboration—one that continues to evolve alongside a client at the forefront of innovation.
