Golder Associates, an international engineering firm, was moving their Vancouver office to accommodate growing staff needs. Their goal was to partner with a progressive, collaborative interior design firm and retained SSDG Interiors.
As an employee-owned company, staff engagement was considered a key element in the planning and interior design of their workplace. They were reducing the number of private offices, which was of great concern to many. Additionally, a survey revealed a couple of key findings: staff wanted greater access to natural light and they were looking for a balance between collaborative spaces and places to do concentrated work. SSDG consulted closely with in-house workgroups assigned to work with the design team and the result is a great success. Staff are delighted with their new offices.
