The new Fortis contact centre is the culmination of a two year plan to bring the natural gas supplier’s customer service operations in-house. SSDG Interiors came on board to transform 50,000 SF in a LEED Platinum certified building into a contemporary and efficient space that reflects their core values of environment, innovation and well-being. The result is an open flowing workspace that facilitates collaboration and connection with an emphasis on acoustics, ergonomics and natural light.

The new Contact Centre is a contemporary and vibrant space. SSDG’s design concept of “Flow” inspired the curved and linear walls to clearly delineate movement within the space and was represented in by the paint, accent carpet tile and vinyl glazing. The use of wood added warmth and helped create a healthy and sustainable workplace.
