Absolute Software is an asset management company that creates security-based software for control over devices, data and applications. They are headquartered in Vancouver, and have offices around the world. Absolute partnered with SSDG Interiors to re-think their workplace, infuse their new brand into their workplace and create an environment to bring their team together to improve their culture. Attraction and retention of talent was top of mind during this transformational change so SSDG was heavily involved in their change management initiatives. The leadership understood the importance to communicate early and often about the changes in the organization and the space they would be occupying. SSDG supported their marketing team with presentation material including concept direction, plans and design direction throughout the workplace transformation. There were displays set up in the elevator lobby of their current space communicating the ‘Lowdown’ of the office upgrade along with a message from their CEO. We created a space in their current office called ‘The Move Room’ where the timelapse video of construction played, floor plans displayed, meeting room naming competition was housed and Lego sculptures were created.
Front and centre was also a message from their CEO ‘Where we work is important. Our new home will be vibrant, open, and stimulating. It will reflect our culture, and inspired vision. It will be an environment that supports the way we work, collaborate and innovate. Ultimately it will inspire and enable us to do our best work.’
