Vancouver Police Department

PROJECT DETAILS

Upon closing the 2010 Winter Games, the City of Vancouver handed over the former VANOC headquarters to the Vancouver Police Department for their relocation and expansion. SSDG Interiors worked with the City and VPD to consolidate the administrative and investigative departments, currently housed in two separate buildings, into 250,000sf at the new site. The design accommodates unique program and security requirements in a bright, efficient, and professional office environment while reducing overall space needs, and maintaining or improving the buildings’ current LEED certification.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING
I only wish each one of you had been present throughout the day today in the hallways, locker rooms, office spaces, and report writing room to hear the words of appreciation and awe of our membership for the facility you each have played a critical part in creating and delivering to them. It is a space we are all extremely proud of and will enjoy for many years to come. My gratitude and thanks to each one of you for the pride you have taken and the respective role you have filled in this project.
